EDI Uptime

We calculate the percentage of EDI communication hardware uptime involved in processing. The measure includes the EDI network, FTP, VAN, and translator.

MOL Target: Achieve 99% uptime.

MOL Action Plan:
We continue to consistently meet the target. Count on MOL to continue to work hard to keep EDI systems up and running.

2017 Results. In April 2017, the 99.4% result was a slight decrease compared with the March 2017 result. The March 2017 result of 99.5% was a small decrease compared with the February 2017 result. The February 2017 result of 99.6% was a good increase from the January 2017 result. The January 2017 result of 99.3% was a slight decrease compared with the December 2016 result.

2016 Results. In December 2016, the 99.5% result was a solid increase compared with the November 2016 result. The November 2016 result was a small decrease compared with the October 2016 result. The October 2016 result was a small increase compared with the September 2016 result. In September 2016, the 99.0% result matched the previous month result and remains on target. In August 2016, the 99.0% result was a slight decrease compared to July 2016. In July 2016, the 99.2% result was a slight decrease compared to June 2016. We continue to achieve the target. The June 2016, the 99.5% result was a slight increase compared to May 2016. In May 2016, the 99.3% result was a slight increase compared to April 2016. In April 2016, the 99.0% result was a slight decrease compared to March 2016. In March 2016, the 99.2% result was a slight increase compared to February 2016. In February 2016, the 99% result matched that of January 2016. In January 2016, the result of 99.0% was a very slight decline compared to December 2015.

Historical Results.The 99.1% result for December 2015 was above the target. The 99.2% result for November 2015 was above the target. The 99.0% result for October 2015 was right on target. The 99.2% result for September 2015 exceeded the target. The 99.0% result for August 2015 was on target. The 99.2% result for July 2015 exceeded the target. The 99.0% result for June 2015 was on target. The 99.3% result for May 2015 was a good improvement from April 2015 and is the best result since July 2014. The 99.0% result for April 2015 was a very slight decline from March 2015. The 99.1% result for March 2015 was a very slight improvement from February 2015. The 99.0% result for February 2015 was a very slight decline from January 2015. The 99.1% result for January 2015 was a slight improvement over December 2014. The 99.0% result for December 2014 was a slight decline from the previous month. The 99.1% result for November 2014 was a slight improvement over the 99.0% result for October 2014 (which was a very slight decline from the 99.1% result for September 2014). The September 2014 result was a very slight decline compared to the 99.2% result for August 2014. The 99.2% result for August 2014 was a slight decline from the 99.3% result for July 2014. Overall, MOL has met the target every month since we first began measuring in March 2012 with the only exception being a 95% result in April 2013 due to down-time during a data center move. The result quickly returned to 99% in May 2013 and has continued to exceed 99% each month since and reaching an all-time high of 99.8% in November 2013.
